Meet Kieran

Earlier this month, we started our Business & Finance internships in partnership with Strathclyde University. Kieran, who is a third-year Finance Analysis & Technology student at Strathclyde, joined us for 2 weeks and here’s how his internship went:

Why did you choose Tru Wealth?

After hearing about the incredible reputation the company have built for themselves, and the vast range of knowledge and experience the team has, it was a no-brainer when choosing Tru Wealth for my Internship.

What did you learn?

Both Graham and Vito were kind enough to share their many years of industry experience and knowledge with me, and I was able to see what it takes to create a successful team from a management and operational perspective.

Johnny, Ciaran, Hayley, and Denise were all incredible in sharing their knowledge of financial planning, and most importantly, they taught me the importance of putting the client and their financial goals above all else.

Jodie gave me a look into the marketing and brand development of the business, and the integral part it plays in the success of the team. Both Angela & Corinne gave me a look into the administrative and support aspects of the business and the vital part they play in the day-to-day running of the business.

What did you enjoy most about your experience?

From the moment I walked into the office, everyone made me feel welcome and part of the team, and they were all incredibly supportive and open to sharing their knowledge and experience in the industry.

The team were kind enough to let me sit in on client meetings, which I particularly enjoyed, as I was able to see first-hand, the hard work and dedication that goes into providing the exceptional level of service that they provide to clients.
