Picking your Partnerships

The Importance of Strategic Partnerships in Business

Recent business opportunities with Tru Wealth have highlighted the major importance of choosing business partnerships very carefully. Whether this be employing staff, providers of services, or choosing a Financial Adviser, strategic business partnerships are hugely important. Get it wrong and this can have far reaching consequences and adopting brand partnerships is highly sensitive too.

Rather than focus on what to avoid let’s think about the things to look for when making these choices. After 25 years in business, we have garnered a wealth of thoughts and experiences- some good, some bad, and often decisions are not spot on first time round, but with each one whether entirely successful or not, we have learned and we are still here and going strong.

So, what are the key components for a successful partnership? The most obvious immediately spring to mind – Trust, Reliability, Integrity and Reputation. These are all bench marks  when choosing product providers for our clients.

These are also the cornerstone of the team that we have built and continue to grow within the McKnight Financial Group. The Tru Wealth team are a prime example of these traits. Meryn and Jonathan, supported by Corinne, Vito and Liz, all display each of these traits on a daily basis. This is also what makes the team a success with their clients and colleagues and this ripples through to our external partners of choice too.

It is also therefore, equally important that the providers and partnerships we employ when building the business for our clients is as important. The latest of these is our newly formed Association with Vitality.

Most will recognise the name and pink Vitality logo from wide TV advertising and Sports associations. Whether you see Stanley the Dash-Hund or their numerous famous sporting ambassadors such as, Jessica Ennis Hill, I am sure most people will recognise the brand even if they are a little unsure as to what they actually do.

Some will already know of Tru Wealth’s successful Association with Scottish Athletics and we are now extremely excited to have teamed up with Vitality to provide our Tru Wealth clients the benefit of Vitality’s wide range of Protection products.

This complements our existing, client centric, proposition and supports us in providing robust and market leading Life Assurance, Critical Illness and Serious Illness cover along with Income protection and Private Medical Cover.

The Vitality product range also has wide ranging options for our business and Commercial clients. Given what we have already acknowledged is important to us in picking our partners we know that Vitality offer all these features to us and the support for our clients, so we can confidently recommend the Vitality range to our clients.

But please don’t take our word for it- why not contact us for a chat about how we can help you and your family or perhaps your business and we can discuss further the specific partnership you are looking to develop. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
